Recently I was introduced to the “Intellectual Property” Facebook page by one of the two administrators, Roxanne Andrieux. The group’s creator and other administrator are attorney Paulo Henrique of Brazil.
Roxanne began her career at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in 1983 where her team received an award for outstanding performance. She later commercialized the space shuttle’s launch services under a Memorandum of Understanding with NASA HQ. This was her first startup successfully funded by Wall Street institutional investors. Over the past three decades, Roxanne developed a deep understanding of investment dynamics in technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT), healthcare, intangible assets, intellectual property, and private equity. She holds a strong executive track record creating partnerships and conducting M&A for world-class organizations in developed and emerging markets. Clients, partners, and co-investors for large-scale investments consistently commend Roxanne for excellence and passion.
Currently residing in China, Roxanne serves as a Board Advisor to WA Healthcare in and is co-chair of “Grand Medical Social Enterprise”, a pioneering deliverer of inexpensive e-healthcare to millions of people. She co-founded and serves as a financial advisor to “Computer on the Go” a secure USB-sized computer. She also mentored hundreds of innovative high-tech start-ups in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
As a respected writer and speaker on regulatory issues for healthcare and real estate in China, Roxanne regularly chairs and serves on conference panels. A Certified Commercial Property Surveyor (RICS) with an MBA in International Finance from George Washington University (USA), Roxanne communicates easily in Mandarin Chinese, French, Italian, and English. In her spare time, Roxanne feeds her passion as an epicurean and music enthusiast. She has produced two jazz albums.
